When Should You Repair Your Chimney?

Small problems get expensive fast. Watch for these warning signs:

Gaps let water into the masonry, where freezing and thawing make the damage worse.

Bricks that flake, chip or fall off are a sign that moisture is getting in.

White powdery deposits on the brick mean water is moving through the masonry.

Stains on ceilings or walls near the chimney, or a damp smell, point to flashing, crown or masonry failure.

A chimney that tilts or has gaps at the roofline needs professional attention right away.

Assessment First

We need to see the problem before we can quote it accurately. After the assessment, you receive a written estimate.

Repair or Rebuild?

We always recommend the most cost-effective solution that makes your chimney safe. We will only suggest a rebuild when repair is not enough.

Permits and Approvals

Where permits or strata approvals are needed, [we can help you with the process / please check with your strata or municipality].
